About Agile for Impact
Mission-driven organizations are facing a new reality. Funding streams are tightening, competition for attention is rising, and the need for measurable impact has never been greater. To thrive, these organizations must cut costs where possible—but, more importantly, they must diversify revenues so they are not dependent on a single source of support.
Agile for Impact exists to help organizations think and act more like businesses without losing sight of their mission. That means:
Staying focused on core purpose
Targeting programs for maximum impact
Measuring outcomes to make informed decisions
Leveraging proven business tools—including acquisitions, mergers, and strategic partnerships
This work challenges the outdated assumption that philanthropy alone can sustain an organization. Agile for Impact helps leaders define their true value proposition and transform it into new opportunities for sustainability and growth.
About Tamara Mahal
I’m Tamara Mahal, founder of Agile for Impact. My career has been defined by helping organizations navigate complexity and emerge stronger. From emergency preparedness to organizational strategy, I’ve seen firsthand that resilience isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about reducing dependence on any single point of failure and building systems that can adapt and grow.
Over the course of my career in government, nonprofits, and startups, I’ve built cross-sector partnerships and collaborations that deliver real change. I’m known for being straightforward and genuine, bringing both candor and commitment to the table. And when it comes to execution, I don’t stop until the results are there.
Agile for Impact is where that experience comes together. I work alongside leaders who are ready to strengthen their organizations by cutting costs, diversifying revenue, and creating the financial and operational resilience needed to thrive.
